GYNECOMASTIA & MALE CHEST REDUCTION
Breast tissue exists in both men and women. Whilst in most cases, breast tissue does not develop into anything significant for men – when it does, it is medically known as gynecomastia, or more commonly – man boobs.
What causes Man Boobs?
More than 30% of men experience at some point in their lives. Gynecomastia or Gynaecomastia can appear when an excess of tissue is which causes the of a more prominent chest and/or pointy, puffy nipples – man boobs.
When we see patients seeking male chest reduction, they often ask what has caused them to develop gynecomastia. Below are some reasons;
